Required Technical Skills
13+ years of full-time professional experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
Strong expertise in Data Architecture, Data Modeling & Enterprise Data Strategy
Data Warehouse, Data Lake & Lakehouse Architecture
Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema & Data Vault
Strong SQL and database architecture experience
Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle or similar platforms
Strong cloud experience with Azure / AWS / GCP
Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Microsoft Fabric or equivalent
ETL/ELT, Data Integration & Data Pipelines
Python / PySpark and distributed data processing
Real-time / streaming data using Kafka or similar technologies
Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, Metadata & Data Lineage
Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Catalog concepts
Experience designing APIs, data integration patterns and enterprise data platforms
BI & Analytics platforms such as Power BI / Tableau
Cloud data migration and modernization
Experience with CI/CD, Git, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
Strong understanding of data security, privacy, compliance and access controls
Experience with data architecture standards, technology evaluation and roadmap development
Leadership / Responsibilities
Define and lead enterprise data architecture and technical strategy
Design scalable, secure and high-performance data platforms and solutions
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models
Establish data architecture standards, principles and best practices
Lead cloud data modernization, migration and integration initiatives
Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Enterprise Architects
Evaluate technologies and recommend appropriate data platforms and architecture patterns
Identify performance, scalability, security and cost-optimization opportunities
Mentor Data Engineers and provide technical leadership
Ensure solutions align with business objectives, governance and enterprise architecture standards
Preferred
Strong MNC experience in India is highly preferred.
Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms is preferred.
Candidates open to relocation are preferred.
Candidates willing to work onsite for the initial 1–3 months are strongly preferred.
Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance or other regulated industries is a plus.
