Lab Assistant - Surgical Pathology

What You Will Do:
**Master the specimen journey:** Take charge of order entry, specimen and material pick-up, transportation, tracking, receipt, and processing—you'll be the MVP keeping everything moving smoothly!
**Become equipment-savvy:** Operate and maintain pre and post-analytic laboratory equipment, including laboratory automation systems. You'll get to work with cutting-edge tech that makes a real difference.
**Be the friendly face:** Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine warmth and professionalism. Your positive attitude and courteous service will brighten everyone's day.
**Roll up your sleeves (sometimes):** Occasionally perform phlebotomy services when needed at your site—expanding your skills and staying versatile.
**Navigate like a pro:** Utilize various information systems to complete your tasks efficiently and keep operations running like a well-oiled machine.
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
