Software Developer Engineer III

We're building a world-class RegTech product, and that takes some extraordinary engineers. We are looking for an experienced Backend engineer to join our technology team. As an SDE III, you'll work closely with our Product, Design, Data Science, and Analytics teams to design and deliver scalable multi-tenant applications. You'll own features end-to-end — from architecture and development to testing, documentation, and deployment — ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability in an Agile/Scrum environment.
What You'll Do
Design and develop scalable enterprise-grade applications.
Integrate and maintain third-party vendor APIs, handling schema variations, failure modes, and response normalisation.
Own feature deployments end-to-end in containerised environments on AWS cloud.
Contribute to architectural discussions and actively participate in code reviews.
Take ownership from ideation through deployment and maintenance.
Build AI-native solutions using tools like Cursor and Claude to deliver client solutions and improve SDLC speed and efficiency.
Must have
6–9 years of hands-on backend development experience in REST API design and strong ownership of production systems. Strong proficiency in one or more of NodeJS / Python / Golang. Solid understanding and working experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. Understanding and working experience in one of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with the ability to independently own and ship features end-to-end. B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S. from a reputed university with a good academic record. Curiosity to explore cutting-edge technologies and zeal to take end-to-end ownership. Experience building or maintaining multi-tenant SaaS platforms would be a plus.
Good to have
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). Experience optimizing high-throughput, low-latency backend systems. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools. Prior experience in FinTech, RegTech, or data-intensive products.
