Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a Backend + AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python and deep hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks. You’ll be responsible for designing scalable backend systems while integrating AI/LLM pipelines into production. This role is ideal for engineers who can bridge backend fundamentals with applied AI, and who thrive in fast-moving startup environments.
What You'll Do
Architect and develop backend services in Python, integrating AI pipelines into production systems.
Build and optimize LLM applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and related libraries.
Design APIs to expose AI features to frontend and mobile applications.
Work with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines for RAG systems.
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI-driven backend services.
Collaborate with product, AI/ML, and frontend teams for end-to-end delivery.
Stay ahead of the latest developments in LLM orchestration frameworks and apply them effectively.
Must have
3+ years of experience in AI / Backend Engineering -Strong proficiency in Python -Experience building scalable backend services and APIs -Hands-on experience with LLM applications in production -Strong knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar LLM orchestration frameworks -Experience with RAG systems, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines -Familiarity with vector databases -Ability to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI-driven systems
Good to have
Experience designing APIs for frontend / mobile AI features -Exposure to AI platform / enterprise SaaS products -Strong understanding of LLM orchestration and workflow design -Experience working with cross-functional teams across product, frontend, and AI/ML -Ability to own end-to-end AI backend delivery -Experience optimizing production AI infrastructure -Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and tooling ecosystem -Experience in a startup / high-growth environment
