AI Engineer (Mid-Senior)

We are hiring a mid-senior level backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services. Candidates should have a solid track record of delivering scalable, production-quality software.
What You'll Do
Build and optimize backend services and APIs.
Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security.
Work closely with frontend and product teams.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Drive process improvements and automation.
Must have
3+ years of experience in Backend / AI Engineering -Strong proficiency in Python -Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Flask -Experience building and scaling backend services / APIs -Strong exposure to model deployment in production -Hands-on experience with LLM integration or RAG pipelines -Understanding of system scalability, reliability, and security -Ability to build production-grade backend infrastructure
Good to have
Prior experience in FinTech / Financial Services -Experience working in a startup / VC-backed environment -Exposure to AI Agents / Agentic workflows -Familiarity with MLOps / model serving infrastructure -Experience in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers -Strong collaboration with product and frontend teams -Exposure to automation and process improvements -Experience owning backend systems end-to-end
