Role Description The Engineer Intern - 5G/6G TN & NTN (Satellite) IoT role is a full-time/part-time, on-site/remote position based in Bengaluru. The intern will support the design, simulation, and validation of modem and connectivity solutions for terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, including Satellite IoT. Daily responsibilities may include assisting in system-level modeling, running lab tests, analyzing performance data, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers on integration of protocol testing and optimization of 5G/6G communication stacks. The intern will also participate in research activities, benchmarking emerging standards, and contributing to proof-of-concept implementations for edge computing and AI-enabled connectivity.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2nd or 3rd year engineering student can also apply.
Strong foundation in communication systems, wireless networks, and digital signal processing,
Knowledge of 5G/6G TN and NTN concepts, satellite communications, and IoT connectivity architectures is advantageous.
Proficiency in programming and scripting (e.g., C/C++, Python, MATLAB) for simulations, and tool development.
Experience or coursework in wireless communication, signal processing, or hardware-software co-design is beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, prepare clear documentation, and communicate complex ideas effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in testing, validation, and debugging.
