Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based in Jaipur. The Assistant Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars, and design course materials that align with departmental and institutional academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The role involves participating in research activities, contributing to publications, and engaging in departmental meetings, committees, and academic events. The Assistant Professor is also expected to support institutional initiatives, maintain accurate academic records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Advanced academic qualifications relevant to the discipline (preferably a Master’s degree or Ph.D.) and a strong foundation in subject-specific knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and assessments, with effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
Strong research aptitude, including the ability to undertake independent or collaborative research projects and contribute to academic publications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and support diverse learners.
Familiarity with modern pedagogical methods, educational technologies, and continuous curriculum improvement practices.
Commitment to ethical conduct, academic integrity, gender-neutral and inclusive teaching practices, and respectful collaboration with colleagues and students.
Previous teaching or academic experience at the college or university level is highly desirable.
Willingness to participate in academic committees, student activities, and institutional development initiatives.
