About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer – HVAC to join our Engineering team in Bengaluru.
The role will focus on HVAC and mechanical engineering activities across industrial, energy, process, water and heavy industry projects, with responsibility for design development, technical review, coordination and engineering support through the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will bring strong HVAC design experience, sound engineering judgement and the ability to work confidently with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify HVAC and mechanical design packages against project specifications, UK standards and applicable regulations
Develop and review HVAC engineering solutions for complex industrial projects
Identify design gaps, scope issues and technical risks, and recommend practical solutions
Prepare and review engineering deliverables, calculations, specifications and technical documentation
Review vendor documentation and provide technical input for procurement and vendor evaluations
Conduct technical reviews, constructability assessments and design risk evaluations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, BIM/CAD and project teams
Work closely with consultants, manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical requirements
Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning
Contribute to value engineering, design optimisation and continuous improvement
Ensure engineering deliverables meet required standards for quality, safety and technical compliance
Desired Skills & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
6–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC and Mechanical Engineering
Experience in Industrial, Energy, Process, Water or Heavy Industry projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering calculations
Experience in reviewing technical documentation and vendor packages
Knowledge of UK and international engineering standards
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Experience working on FEED and EPC projects
Exposure to HVAC design for heavy industrial facilities
Experience supporting site installation, testing and commissioning
Knowledge of piping systems and multidisciplinary engineering coordination
Experience working with international project teams or UK projects
