Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Gorakhpur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Additional responsibilities may include supporting audits, improving internal controls, and collaborating with management to provide clear financial insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
Experience with accounting software and proficiency in spreadsheets and basic financial analysis.
Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and support tax-related documentation.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with local tax laws and regulatory requirements applicable to businesses in India, particularly Uttar Pradesh.
Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
