Role Description The OHE Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based at MAN Structurals Pvt. Ltd. in Kota. The OHE Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, executing, and monitoring overhead equipment (OHE) installation, maintenance, and inspection activities in alignment with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant codes. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and technicians; preparing and updating work schedules; ensuring proper use of tools and materials; and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting regular site audits, and implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime. The OHE Engineer is expected to support continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment on site.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of OHE systems, structural engineering concepts, and relevant industry standards or codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation.
Experience in site supervision, project coordination, and field execution for OHE or related infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance with health and safety regulations in industrial environments.
Proficiency in basic engineering tools and software for planning, reporting, and documentation (e.g., MS Office; familiarity with CAD is an advantage).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for handling on-site technical issues.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional project and site teams.
Ability to work in on-site, field-based conditions and manage multiple tasks under project timelines.
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; relevant OHE project experience is preferred.
Prior experience in rail, power, or industrial infrastructure projects in Kota or similar locations is an added advantage.
