Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Solutions Engineer at BlinkOps. The Solutions Engineer will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their security and automation requirements, design tailored solutions using the BlinkOps platform, and guide them through implementation and adoption. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering technical demonstrations, building proof-of-concept workflows, integrating BlinkOps with customer environments, and collaborating with sales and product teams to ensure a smooth presales and post-sales experience. The role also involves providing technical consulting, documenting best practices, troubleshooting integration issues, and sharing customer feedback with engineering to improve platform capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong Software Development skills for building, customizing, and troubleshooting automation workflows and integrations.
Consulting and Presales experience to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and present them effectively to stakeholders.
Sales-oriented mindset and collaboration skills to support account teams in technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and overall deal strategy.
Integration expertise to connect BlinkOps with APIs, SaaS platforms, security tools, and existing infrastructure.
Solid understanding of security operations, incident response, and automation concepts.
Proficiency with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar).
Experience working in or with fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity organizations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple customer engagements, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
