Role Description The Store Manager role at Vardhman Probuild Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Store Manager will oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, cash handling, and compliance with store policies and procedures. This role involves leading and mentoring store staff, assigning duties, monitoring performance, and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized store environment. The Store Manager will handle customer escalations, work to improve customer satisfaction, and coordinate with senior management on sales targets, reporting, and promotional activities. The role requires close attention to retail loss prevention, accurate record-keeping, and alignment of store performance with business goals.
Qualifications
Customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues promptly.
Strong Communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Store Management experience with knowledge of daily operations, staffing, inventory, and sales processes.
Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure asset protection.
Proven leadership skills, including team supervision, motivation, and performance management.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with point-of-sale or retail management systems.
Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage flexible work hours, and handle peak-time workloads.
Preferred: Prior experience in retail or building materials, and a diploma or degree in business, commerce, or a related field.
