AVIATION FACULTY

Role Description The Aviation Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata Raharhat Newtown area. The faculty member will deliver classroom and, where applicable, practical instruction in aviation-related subjects, ensuring that course content aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic guidance and mentorship. The role also involves updating course materials, participating in curriculum development and academic meetings, supporting student projects, and contributing to departmental initiatives and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
Masters/MBA in any discipline
Minimum 8 years experience in Airlines operations
Strong knowledge of aviation operations, aviation management, or related disciplines, with the ability to teach core and elective aviation subjects.
Experience with academic instruction, including lesson planning, classroom delivery, student assessment, and the use of modern teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and interact effectively with diverse learners and colleagues.
Commitment to academic integrity, continuous learning, and participation in faculty development, research, or industry outreach activities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple courses, deadlines, and academic responsibilities within an on-site institutional setting.
