Role Description The Interior Design Intern role at Tvashta Spaces is an internship position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing design concepts, mood boards, and layout drawings under the guidance of senior designers. The intern will help in selecting furniture and FF&E items, coordinating samples, compiling specifications, and supporting project documentation. The role involves communicating with internal team members, organizing design files, and contributing to presentations for clients. The intern will gain hands-on experience in design development, site visits, and project coordination while learning studio workflows and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with an understanding of functional layouts and design principles.
Candidates should possess skills related to Furniture and FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, and product sourcing.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for collaborating with the design team and supporting client interactions.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe tools) is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow design guidelines, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.
Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area as required.
