Junior Cyber Security Analyst

We're looking for a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Digital Risk Protection team. You'll work alongside senior analysts on dark web monitoring, brand protection, and vulnerability assessments, with structured mentoring and hands-on exposure to our product. This is a strong entry point for someone who wants to build a career in threat intelligence and offensive/defensive security. You will actively contribute to identifying digital risks, validating threats, supporting customers, and disrupting phishing and impersonation campaigns.
Project Role Description:
Dark Web and Surface Web Monitoring, Alert Triage on the DRPS / Brand Protection Platform, Takedown Support, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Threat Intelligence Tracking, Customer Onboarding and First-Level Support, and Security Documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the dark web, deep web, and open sources for leaked credentials, data exposure, and mentions of customer assets.
Triage alerts generated by our DRPS / brand protection platform and escalate validated incidents.
Support takedown requests for phishing domains, fake apps, fake social profiles, and impersonation cases.
Assist with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) activities under senior guidance.
Help with customer onboarding, including asset configuration, keyword setup, and basic platform walkthroughs.
Respond to first-level customer queries and maintain support tickets within SLA.
Track threat intelligence feeds and summarise relevant findings for the team.
Prepare incident reports, dashboards, and documentation.
Share product feedback and false-positive patterns with the engineering team.
Must-Have Skills:
Basic understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and the vulnerability management lifecycle.
Fundamentals of Windows, Linux, and cloud security (AWS/Azure basics).
Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, ports and protocols.
Awareness of threat intelligence concepts, IOCs, and common feeds.
Conceptual familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, CERT-In, RBI guidelines).
Clear written and verbal communication for customer-facing reports.
Good to Have:
Exposure to Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nessus/OpenVAS, Maltego, or SIEM platforms.
Python/Bash scripting.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or eJPT (or in progress).
CTF/bug bounty activity or a personal lab.
Understanding of dark web ecosystems and OSINT methodology.
Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Candidates with certifications or training in Ethical Hacking, VAPT, or Information Security will be preferred.
