Project Manager - Life Sciences Department

The role
Deep Knowledge Group is seeking versatile Project Managers to move practical longevity and HealthTech initiatives from a strategic brief or partially developed concept into completed, usable outputs.
We are looking for independent operators who learn quickly, organize complex work and take responsibility for delivery. The focus is cross-functional project delivery, not laboratory research or ownership of a single product roadmap. A conventional medical, biotechnology or Life Sciences qualification is not required.
The portfolio can involve intelligence platforms, commercial HealthTech products, diagnostics-related initiatives, Longevity Club/Card, modular longevity and Dubai Longevity Constellation work. Each manager will own a defined set of assignments and coordinate the relevant specialists, rather than attempt to manage the entire portfolio at once.
What you will do
Translate management objectives, research inputs and existing project materials into an actionable plan with outputs, owners, milestones, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
Establish what already exists, what is missing and the shortest credible route to the next useful deliverable; avoid recreating work or adding process without a practical benefit.
Coordinate Life Sciences, Product, Data Science, IT, Business Development, MarTech and external contributors around the agreed scope and delivery sequence.
Manage implementation work such as supplier research, pilot preparation, partner onboarding, documentation, product-material development and launch readiness, according to the assigned project.
Maintain concise action plans, decision logs, version-controlled materials and progress reporting that show completed outputs, unresolved issues and the next decision required.
Identify delays and conflicting dependencies early, propose a workable resolution and follow through rather than simply forwarding the issue to another department.
Prepare clear briefs and commercial or operational comparisons; support cost estimates, resource planning and budget tracking within the agreed mandate.
Work with product managers and technical or scientific leads to clarify requirements and verify completion; distinguish project coordination from ownership of specialist decisions.
Use AI for research, synthesis, planning, documentation and routine automation, checking material claims and applying your own judgment to priorities and conclusions.
Close the loop on deliverables: obtain the appropriate review, resolve material gaps and ensure the next team can actually use the result.
Candidate profile
You should be able to demonstrate a project or complex workstream that you personally delivered, including how you managed ambiguity, dependencies and competing priorities. Experience may come from technology, operations, consulting, commercial projects or another execution-focused environment.
We value fast learning, clear reasoning, professional communication and the ability to work autonomously across different functions. You should be comfortable reading unfamiliar technical material, asking precise questions and challenging unsupported assumptions without confusing confidence with evidence.
Practical interest or personal engagement in longevity, human performance, quantified self, biohacking or related fields is an advantage. It is not a substitute for project-delivery capability, and unfamiliarity with a conventional biomedical career path is not a disadvantage in itself.
Senior candidates should be able to structure ambiguous cross-functional work and resolve dependencies with limited supervision. Middle-level candidates should show reliable ownership of defined workstreams and disciplined follow-through.
Clinical, scientific, legal and safety-critical decisions remain with the qualified specialists responsible for them. The Project Manager ensures those reviews happen and their requirements are reflected in execution.
What success looks like
Projects advance through demonstrable milestones: a validated brief, a costed supplier comparison, a ready pilot, an accepted deliverable or an operational handover. Colleagues can see what has been completed and what decision is needed next, without constant reminders or unnecessary meetings.
Please be ready to explain a delivery you personally owned, a serious blocker you resolved and the evidence that the output was accepted and used.
