Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing HR operations and supporting the workforce in alignment with Olympic Aviation’s global aerospace mission. Day-to-day tasks include managing recruitment processes, coordinating interviews, and guiding hiring managers on best practices. The role also involves administering employee onboarding, maintaining HR records, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager will provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution, while supporting training and development initiatives. This role collaborates with leadership to refine HR procedures, promote a positive, inclusive work culture, and support strategic workforce planning.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices in a multinational or regulated industry environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to effectively support employees and managers at all levels.
Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems, and standard office software tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience in aviation, logistics, or another complex operations environment is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR) is a plus.
