Academy Development and Support Officer [26169]

As part of our team you will have the following responsibilities:
The scope of this activity is to support ESA in the development, implementation and improvement of new Training “Academies”. Provides Academy-level coordination across ESA’s learning architecture, instructional design, stakeholder engagement, delivery readiness and evaluation.
Act as the L&D interface towards Academy stakeholders, including ESA organisational entities, governance bodies, subject matter experts and external providers contracted to support Academy development and delivery. Coordinate contributions, facilitate collaboration, support decision making processes and obtain required approvals.
Analyse existing training assets, identify gaps, overlaps and integration opportunities, and define and maintain the Academy learning architecture, learning pathways, learning objectives, target groups, learning outcomes, course structures, schedules and resource estimates in alignment with ESA learning standards.
Design, review and enhance Academy learning solutions, including course and module structures, learning activities, exercises, simulations, assessments and supporting materials. Support subject matter experts and contributors in the development of trainer and participant materials and ensure compliance with ESA instructional design guidelines.
Coordinate validation activities, approvals, pilots and first deliveries of Academy learning solutions. Collect and analyse feedback, participation and impact data, provide recommendations and implement agreed improvements
Coordinate learning operations and delivery readiness, including learningsystem integration, records management, participant administration, logistics, documentation and certification processes. Support Academy communication and promotion activities, where required.
Identify, monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies, propose mitigation actions and provide regular reporting on Academy implementation activities and outcomes.
Support other L&TD and related capability-building activities as reasonably requested by the Agency
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
Master's degree in Learning & Developmen or Human Resources or Educational Sciences;
4 years of experience in learning and development or training operations;
Experience with large international organisations or public sector or intergovernmental organisations;
Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously;
Excellent communication skills;
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
