Role Description This full-time, on-site Network Professional role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering and monitoring network devices, managing configurations, and proactively identifying performance issues. The role involves troubleshooting connectivity problems, coordinating incident resolution, and implementing best practices for network security and access control. The Network Professional will participate in designing and optimizing network architectures, supporting upgrades and migrations, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and operations teams. Documentation of network topology, policies, and procedures, along with adherence to compliance and security standards, is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Networking and Network Administration skills for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network environments.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network performance and connectivity issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills to implement secure configurations, manage access controls, and support compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess Network Design skills to contribute to planning, architecture, and scaling of enterprise network solutions.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware and monitoring tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Wireshark, SolarWinds or similar).
Ability to document network configurations and create clear operational runbooks.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
