The School of Professional and Technical Education at Utah State University seeks candidates for a full-time, academic-year (9-month), non-tenure-track Professional Practice Assistant Professor or Lecturer in conjunction with the Extension’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program across the state. The appointment is 70% teaching and 30% service with an expectation of assisting and overseeing the VITA program. It is anticipated that the individual selected for this faculty position will start in January of 2027. The successful candidate for this position will teach a variety of tax courses and community education for both the Statewide and Online Education and Utah State University Extension Home and Community Department.
