The Department of History at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for a tenure-track, nine-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor in United States history, with additional expertise in Utah history. The successful applicant will teach the following courses, among others: “United States 1877-Present” (HIST 2710), “Utah History” (HIST 3850), “Career Pathways for History Majors and Minors” (HIST 3001), and upper-division courses in their area(s) of specialization. The department seeks a colleague who can show evidence of teaching excellence, along with experience mentoring students in career development.
