Role Description The Assistant Manager Corporate Sales – Pune is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for managing corporate client relationships, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable products from the company’s portfolio. The position involves generating leads, conducting meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, and closing sales in line with business targets. The Assistant Manager will coordinate with internal teams for smooth sales operations, policy issuance, and post-sales service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also requires regular reporting on sales performance, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and staying updated on industry trends and product offerings to advise clients effectively.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and achieve revenue targets.
Candidates should possess Account Management and Customer Service skills to nurture long-term relationships, handle queries, and ensure client retention.
Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills to manage documentation, reporting, CRM updates, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance solutions in a clear and confident manner.
Relevant experience in corporate or B2B sales; exposure to insurance, financial services, or related sectors is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in standard office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
