Role Description The Accounting Analyst role at DNA Growth is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reconciling journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and supporting accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities. This role includes analyzing financial statements, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Accounting Analyst will also help ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist in process improvements and automation initiatives, and provide data-backed insights to support business and client decision-making. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply core accounting principles.
Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Ability to analyze Financial Statements and support the preparation of management reports and dashboards.
Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
Proficiency with accounting and ERP software; experience with tools like Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau is beneficial.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment.
