Help Customers Solve Their Toughest Processing Challenges
GEON is seeking a customer-focused Technical Service Engineer to serve as the technical expert supporting our polymer solutions in injection molding and extrusion applications. This high-impact role combines hands-on plastics processing expertise, customer engagement, and continuous improvement to help manufacturers optimize performance, solve complex challenges, and unlock growth.
What You'll Do
Lead process optimization, troubleshooting, and customer trials for GEON products.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D.
Investigate and resolve processing issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis.
Evaluate customer manufacturing operations and recommend improvements that drive quality, productivity, and cost savings.
Partner with commercial teams to strengthen customer relationships and support business growth.
Present technical findings, project outcomes, and performance improvements to customers and leadership.
Support design for manufacturability, tooling, Moldflow, process simulation, and product launches.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Plastics or Chemical Engineering preferred).
5+ years of plastics processing, technical service, or process engineering experience.
Hands-on expertise in Injection Molding and/or Extrusion.
Strong knowledge of PVC, ABS, PP, and other thermoplastics.
Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
