Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Presenter cum Script Writer based in Madhuravoyal. The role involves presenting on camera for a variety of video formats, including explainer videos, promotional content, social media clips, and training materials. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics, developing video concepts, writing clear and engaging scripts, rehearsing lines, and coordinating with the production team to ensure smooth recording sessions. The Video Presenter cum Script Writer will work closely with directors, videographers, and editors to refine messaging, maintain brand tone, and deliver polished, audience-ready content. Responsibilities also include collaborating on storyboards, giving input on visual treatment, and adapting scripts based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Strong on-camera presence with clear articulation, confident delivery, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Demonstrated script writing skills, including structuring narratives, simplifying complex topics, and tailoring content for different platforms.
Ability to research topics thoroughly and translate information into concise, audience-appropriate video scripts.
Experience collaborating with video production teams, including familiarity with basic recording processes and studio etiquette.
Excellent command of English (and local language proficiency as needed), with strong grammar, proofreading, and editing abilities.
Comfort in taking direction, incorporating feedback, and refining performances and scripts under tight deadlines.
Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously.
Prior experience in media, advertising, digital content, or similar fields is preferred; theater or public speaking experience is an advantage.
Relevant academic background in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Performing Arts, or a related discipline is beneficial.
Willingness to work on-site in Madhuravoyal and collaborate in a dynamic, creative environment.
