Production Supervisor

Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, assigning tasks to production teams, monitoring output and equipment performance, and resolving operational issues. The Production Supervisor maintains accurate production records, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to optimize workflows. The role also involves training and mentoring production staff, promoting safe work practices, and communicating clearly with management regarding progress and challenges.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules to align capacity, materials, and deadlines.
Candidates should possess Production Management capabilities, including workflow optimization and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and frontline staff.
Experience in FMCG or chemical/home-care manufacturing environments is beneficial.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and basic maintenance practices is preferred.
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Production, or a related field is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment and use basic MS Office or ERP tools is desirable.
