Your Impact
As a Leader of the Cisco Product GTM Strategy & Execution team, you will shape the future of our Licensing data ecosystem by owning the end-to-end lifecycle of our modern data platform. Through technical leadership and multi-functional collaboration, you will drive our data strategy, empower data-driven decisions, and accelerate go-to-market success.
Key Responsibilities
Build and implement data engineering strategy, aligning platform architecture with business goals.
Define enterprise standards for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, quality, and modeling (including dimensional and Data Vault).
Nurture a collaborative, high-performing team by mentoring engineers and championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
Deliver trusted, reusable data products to support advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for an Engineering Leader with 12+ years in software/data engineering, including 3+ years leading data engineering teams.
Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, and/or GCP.
Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.
Experience with modern data stack such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, SQL, and Python.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global, multi-functional teams.
Optional Skills (Good To Have)
Experience with AI/ML or GenAI-driven data platforms and solutions.
Exposure to real-time data processing technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
Experience driving large-scale data platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
