Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to build scalable cloud-native applications and platform services on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, APIs, event-driven architecture, AWS services, Terraform, and authorization frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable backend applications using Python and TypeScript.
Build contract-first APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Develop event-driven solutions using Amazon EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
Design and develop APIs, integrations, microservices, and reusable platform services.
Implement fine-grained authorization using Amazon Verified Permissions and Cedar.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and observability.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, Product Owners, and Engineering teams.
Contribute to platform engineering and developer experience improvements.
