About the Role
Senior Java Software Developer (Prior Android Development Experience)
Experience: 7-10+ Years
Work Location: Bengaluru
Work Mode: Work from Office (5 Days a Week)
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong enterprise/backend development expertise and prior hands-on Android application development experience. The ideal candidate should have experience building and integrating APIs, working with middleware and databases, and supporting applications in enterprise environments.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8
Experience with Spring and/or EJB for enterprise application development
Strong experience in developing and working with REST/RESTful APIs
Experience in both consuming APIs and providing/exposing APIs
Good understanding of JMS (Java Message Service)
Experience with JPA, JDBC and/or Hibernate
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience with Git/GitHub for source-code management
Knowledge of application server configuration and deployment, preferably IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
Prior hands-on Android application development experience is required
Good understanding of application integration and communication between mobile applications and Java backend services.
