QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 7-10 Years
Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / Test Engineer with strong experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing microservices-based applications, good understanding of JMS/messaging concepts, and strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
The role requires someone comfortable working across both manual and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications.
Test REST APIs and microservices, validating functionality, integrations, request/response flows, and data.
Work with JMS/message-based integrations and validate application communication between services.
Develop and maintain test automation using Cypress and/or REST Assured.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
Conduct performance/load testing using Gatling.
Perform backend/data validation using SQL queries and databases.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
Maintain test cases, test documentation, and project knowledge in Confluence.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
