Krause Estate Planning & Elder Law Center is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join our firm. This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established role at a growing law firm that values collaboration, integrity, and excellence.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Administrator independently manages payroll and core bookkeeping functions for the firm. This role ensures compliance with payroll and tax laws, reconciles accounts, and oversees accounts payable and receivable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently process payroll, including wage calculations, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits
Monitor computer-generated reports for errors, troubleshoot discrepancies, and reconcile payroll issues
Maintain and update master payroll records, including tax exemptions, benefits, and loan payments
Record employee transfers, wage adjustments, and other personnel-related payroll changes
Prepare and file periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
Assist with preparation and issuance of W-2 forms at year-end
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, client billing support, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for attorney/management review
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll/tax regulations and firm accounting policies
Responsible for purchasing, vendor management, and lease management
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
2-5 years of general office, accounting, and payroll experience in a legal office is required
Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online
Bondable up to $4M

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.
HYBRID/REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions. A quiet, secure setting is required to maintain privacy and comply with all relevant privacy regulations. In addition, candidates should have a reliable internet connection and be able to manage their time effectively to meet team goals.
