Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kurla. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, design development, and coordination with contractors and vendors. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design presentations, overseeing space planning, reviewing construction drawings, selecting FF&E, and ensuring design standards are met throughout project execution. This role will also involve mentoring junior designers, managing timelines and budgets, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills for developing comprehensive design concepts and solutions.
Candidates should possess expertise in Space Planning to optimize functionality, flow, and user experience in residential and commercial spaces.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings for translating design intent into detailed, accurate documentation for execution.
Candidates should possess knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection to ensure cohesive, high-quality material and product specifications.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills are required.
Prior experience in leading interior design projects and managing design teams is preferred.
A relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is desirable.
