Role Description As a Junior Architect at SpazeDo Interior Solutions, you will support the design and execution of residential and interior projects from concept through completion. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with architectural design and space planning, preparing drawings and 3D visualizations, and coordinating with senior architects, interior designers, vendors, and contractors. You will help translate client requirements into detailed design proposals, support site measurements and inspections, and contribute to material selection and documentation. The role also involves collaborating on project timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring designs align with quality standards, budget, and client expectations.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support space planning, layout development, and design detailing.
Basic understanding of software tools and Integration concepts relevant to architectural workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM tools, visualization software), with willingness to learn new digital tools.
Interest or introductory experience in Project Management, including organizing tasks, tracking timelines, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant discipline.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic knowledge of rendering tools.
Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients and partners.
Ability to visit project sites in and around Chennai as required and manage tasks in a hybrid work environment.
