Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Daily responsibilities include coordinating expediting activities, managing inspections, and working with logistics teams to monitor material movement and delivery status. The role involves preparing and maintaining project documentation, risk registers, and status reports, as well as leading meetings with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and align on project milestones. The Project Manager will also support process improvements, ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, and provide clear communication across all project phases.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills, with the ability to follow up with suppliers, track deliverables, and resolve delays.
Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including coordinating quality checks, reviewing inspection reports, and ensuring adherence to specifications.
Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including overseeing material movement, delivery timelines, and coordination with logistics partners.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field are preferred, along with proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Beneficial skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, effective communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technology-driven projects within the Greater Chennai Area or similar environments will be an advantage.
