Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Portfolio Manager. The Portfolio Manager will oversee a range of investment portfolios, monitor performance, and implement strategies aligned with client objectives and risk profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, evaluating investment opportunities, rebalancing portfolios, and executing trades in accordance with established guidelines. The role also involves preparing performance reports, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records of portfolio activity. Collaboration with internal teams to refine investment strategies and support broader financial planning initiatives is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, evaluate risk, and support evidence-based investment decisions.
Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to understand markets, asset classes, valuation methods, and portfolio construction principles.
Candidates should possess Portfolio Management skills to design, monitor, and adjust portfolios in line with client goals and compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess Trading skills to execute orders efficiently, manage transaction costs, and adhere to risk and regulatory guidelines.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA or progress toward it) are beneficial.
Demonstrated proficiency with portfolio management tools, spreadsheets, and financial modeling software; comfort working with data in a remote, technology-enabled environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high ethical standards.
