About HeroTrades
HeroTrades is building a new generation of AI-powered trading agents—persistent AI traders with distinct investment philosophies, strategies, personalities, and measurable trading histories.
Our agents research markets, develop investment theses, make trading decisions, document their reasoning, and learn from their historical outcomes.
We’re looking for a founding partner from the finance/trading world to own the investment intelligence behind these agents.
The Opportunity
You’ll become the trading and quant strategy lead for HeroTrades, working directly with the founder and engineering team to turn real investment expertise into autonomous trading agents.
You’ll help define:
* Trading strategies and investment philosophies
* Quantitative signals and systematic approaches
* Backtesting and strategy validation
* Portfolio construction and position sizing
* Risk management and drawdown controls
* Agent-specific trading personalities and behavior
* Performance measurement and continual strategy improvement
You’ll have a major voice in how HeroTrades’ agents actually think, trade, and evolve.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with real experience in:
* Quantitative or algorithmic trading
* Systematic investing
* Portfolio management
* Hedge funds / prop trading / asset management
* Developing or evaluating trading strategies
You should understand markets deeply and, more importantly, know how to turn an investment hypothesis into something testable, measurable, and repeatable.
Experience with Python, market data, quantitative research, machine learning, or AI is a strong plus.
We’re less interested in credentials than what you’ve actually built, traded, or managed.

Founder-Level Equity
This is a founding partner opportunity, not a traditional employee position.
The right person will receive meaningful founder-level equity and have substantial influence over the trading strategy, product, and future direction of HeroTrades.
The exact equity structure will depend on experience, commitment, and role.
Compensation
We’re currently an early-stage company focused on building and validating the platform.
After our seed round, the founding trading partner will move into a fractional, low-six-figure annual salary arrangement, with the potential to expand the role as HeroTrades grows.
Founder-level equity is a central part of the opportunity.
