Role Description The Legal Intern role at MY Legal WhiteBand is a hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home. The intern will assist with legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations, and help in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Day-to-day tasks include organizing case files, preparing summaries and notes, supporting legal consulting assignments, and documenting legal issues and risk assessments. The intern will also collaborate with senior team members, participate in client-related discussions when required, and maintain accurate records and documentation in line with firm standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with ongoing or completed legal education and familiarity with core legal principles.
Ability to support Legal Consulting activities, including issue-spotting, analysis, and practical recommendations.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal agreements and notices.
Effective Communication skills for clear written work, professional emails, and structured reporting on Legal Issues.
Attention to detail, strong analytical and research abilities, and capacity to handle confidential information responsibly.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Mumbai, with reliability in meeting deadlines and coordinating with the team remotely.
Prior internship or project experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar setting is an advantage.
