Marketing Intern

Job Description
As the Marketing Intern, you will gain first-hand experience supporting key Master Lock marketing initiatives, including product launches, shows and events, channel marketing, digital and social media. You will have direct contact with all aspects of the business from sales, engineering and product management to customers, providing the opportunity to learn many different aspects of marketing.
Support the execution of marketing programs and campaigns across brand, channel, and digital touchpoints, from planning through post-launch recap.
Draft and edit copy for a range of media — web pages, product literature, email, social posts, and internal communications.
Assist with trade shows, sales meetings, and customer events, including materials prep, logistics coordination, and on-site support.
Conduct competitive, category, and consumer research, and summarize findings into clear takeaways for the marketing team.
Partner cross-functionally with sales, product management, and creative teams to keep projects on schedule and on brief.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on sales, marketing, or related field
Should possess knowledge of Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Willingness to learn
Creative, flexible and deadline oriented with a basic understanding of project management (planning, organizing, priority setting).
Must be able to function in a collaborative team environment.
Strong English & grammar skills
Great organization skills
Must show extreme responsibility
This opportunity is for a part-time fall and spring and full-time summer internship and could potentially be extended depending on business needs and performance.
