About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Samprasoft. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and maintenance of essential applications within the Division of Employment and Training and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will work remotely within Wisconsin, contributing to high-priority projects that involve application design, development, integration, and system enhancements. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Wisconsin at their own expense if not currently residing there. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative environment utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies, with the flexibility of remote work within the state of Wisconsin.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess at least four years of experience as a Microsoft full stack developer, demonstrating proficiency in both legacy and modern web development frameworks. Experience working with ASP.NET forms, MVC, and MVVM patterns is essential. Candidates should have a solid background in Agile Scrum development processes and experience collaborating within cross-functional teams. Prior work experience in government, insurance, accounting, case management, or related work programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Google Cloud, relational databases like Oracle PL-SQL, and microservices architecture will be considered advantageous. A strong technical foundation combined with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services that support critical government functions. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and enhancing applications using VB.NET, C#, and .NET frameworks within an Agile Scrum environment.
Creating and maintaining web services, integrating third-party software, and ensuring seamless data exchange across systems.
Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Converting data and modifying existing codebases to improve functionality, security, and performance.
Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
Utilizing tools such as Visual Studio, MS Team Foundation Server, and MS Azure DevOps for version control and project management.
Implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS CloudFormation and GCP services as required.
