Location: Southeast Region: Georgia, North Carolina, Florida
Job Type: Full-Time - Remote - Must reside in GA, FL or NC
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 plus 25% target bonus potenital
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Fruit Procurement personnel to support and grow our fresh and processed berry business throughout the Southeast Region: Georgia, North Carolina, Florida.
This position will focus on sourcing fruit directly from growers, developing strong grower relationships, negotiating purchase agreements.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in the berry or fresh produce industry, understands agricultural markets, and is comfortable working independently and traveling throughout growing regions.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers and farms
· Source blueberries for fresh and processed markets
· Visit farms and evaluate crop availability, quality, and harvest timing
· Negotiate fruit purchasing, pricing, and supply agreements
· Identify and develop new growers and supply opportunities
· Manage key customer and grower relationships
· Monitor market conditions, pricing, crop volumes, and industry trends
· Coordinate with operations, logistics, and production teams
· Help maximize fruit supply, and company profitability
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of experience in fresh produce, agriculture, commodities, sales, or procurement
· Experience in blueberries, berries, or experienced fertilizer sales rep
· Established relationships within the grower or produce industry
· Strong understanding of fresh produce markets, supply chains, and logistics
· Experience negotiating pricing and large-volume purchase or sales agreements
· Knowledge of fruit quality, grading, packaging, harvesting, and post-harvest handling
· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple growers and customers
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
· Ability to travel throughout the Southeast region and other growing regions
· Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
