Human Resources Specialist 2

Lottery is hiring one (1) Human Resources Specialist 2 to join the team in a remote eligible position with business needs requiring occasional onsite work or travel (approximately once per week) in Salem, OR.

About The Role
This position will report to the Supervisor, HR and perform routine and non-routine work that is widely observed within a specialized functional area, applying deeper technical knowledge and/or sound judgment. You will identify issues and recommend solutions. You will provide human resources support in the administration of employee services, workforce programs, operational processes, and compliance activities. You will serve as a resource to employees and management by coordinating HR functions, maintaining personnel information, supporting organizational initiatives, and ensuring the effective delivery of human resources services.

Assist with administration of HR operational processes, records, communications, and support activities to ensure effective service delivery, regulatory compliance, and efficient departmental operations.
Provide support, guidance, and responsive customer service regarding human resources programs, policies, benefits, and employment-related services to employees, applicants, and stakeholders.
Administer onboarding and employee lifecycle transactions to support workforce integration and compliance with established requirements.
Assist with communications, document creation, and departmental activities that support HR initiatives, information sharing, and operational effectiveness. Provide scheduling and meeting support to the Senior Manager, Human Resources.
Collect, maintain, and review HR data, records, and documentation to support reporting, compliance requirements, operational monitoring, and informed decision-making.
Assist with purchasing and budget-related activities by coordinating financial documentation and transactions that support departmental operations.
You Have
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Associate's degree and three (3) years’ experience providing advanced administrative and operational support for human resources functions; OR
Five (5) years’ experience providing advanced administrative and operational support for human resources functions.
