Role Description The Web3 Trading and Portfolio Strategist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and optimizing digital asset portfolios for clients operating in the Web3 ecosystem. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, evaluating on-chain data, and executing trading strategies across various cryptocurrencies, tokens, and DeFi protocols. The role involves designing risk management frameworks, monitoring portfolio performance, and adjusting asset allocations to meet client objectives. The strategist will collaborate closely with internal HR and advisory teams to align investment strategies with broader organizational goals, providing clear reporting, insights, and recommendations. This position also requires staying informed about regulatory developments, new protocols, and emerging market opportunities to ensure prudent and compliant portfolio decisions.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Web3, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and digital asset markets, with experience in trading or portfolio management.
Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative market research, analyze on-chain data, and interpret technical and fundamental indicators.
Experience designing and implementing portfolio strategies, including diversification, hedging, and risk management frameworks.
Proficiency with trading platforms, crypto exchanges, wallets, and portfolio tracking tools; familiarity with basic smart contract concepts is beneficial.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort working in a fully remote environment, managing time effectively, and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Previous experience in asset management, proprietary trading, or crypto-focused investment firms is an advantage.
Compensation:
This position offers a salary range of $110,000–$145,000 USD per year depending on experience.
