Our platform helps contractors in HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, solar, and other home service industries identify opportunities, understand properties, and improve their sales and marketing efforts.
We are looking for a Director of Business Development to drive new business, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth.
The Role
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for ServiceCall.com. This person will build relationships with home service companies, technology providers, strategic partners, and other organizations that can help expand the company's customer base.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable prospecting, selling, developing partnerships, and helping shape the company's go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue channels
Build relationships with HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, solar, and other home service companies
Develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline
Prospect, qualify, and close new customers
Develop strategic partnerships and referral relationships
Create and execute outbound business development strategies
Work with leadership to identify new markets and customer segments
Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
Develop proposals and negotiate agreements with prospective customers and partners
Maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the sales process
Track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance
Work closely with marketing and leadership to improve messaging and go-to-market strategy
Help build scalable business development and sales processes
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, SaaS, or technology
Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
Experience selling technology or SaaS solutions preferred
Home services industry experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of B2B sales and relationship development
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move quickly and take ownership
Strong CRM and pipeline management skills
Comfortable working directly with company leadership
