Pioneering Medicines: Biologic Formulations Technical Operations Co-Op

This position is open exclusively to current Northeastern University Co-Op students.
Work Period: January 2027 to June 2027. This is a full - time, 40 hours per week position with 5 days in office.

About the Role
PM is searching for a Co Op to join our Technical Operations Team to help us advance a number of cutting-edgebiologics, aiming to treat chronic diseases. This is an exciting opportunity that will offer valuable experience in the biotech industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to function under the guidance and expertise of scientists in Pioneering Medicines’ Technical Operations Team. The successful candidate will work in the lab and help develop and evaluate formulations for biologics across multiple therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
The preparation of biologics formulation vehicles
The creation and screening of multiple biologics and potential nucleic acid payloads
The development of processes and techniques to improve the overall yield and purity of drug products
The evaluation of biologics/RNA, and formulations using various cutting edge analytical approaches
The examination of drug product characteristics and stability for pre-clinical use
Routine documentation and presentation of data to cross-functional team members
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Great sense of urgency and willingness to learn and do new things in lab
Hands-on and lab experience in chemistry, biochemistry, Engineering or related field
Strong work ethic and a passion for benchwork
A collaborative, team player and good lab citizen
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Effective and proactive communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge of the following are a plus (but not strictly necessary):
Experience with biologics/RNA formulations
