Role Description The House Helper is a full-time, on-site role based in Lakhisarai, supporting the smooth daily operations of the facility and workspaces. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in common areas, offices, and staff rooms; organizing supplies; and ensuring that workstations and shared spaces are tidy and ready for use. The role may also involve assisting with basic food service support such as arranging utensils, cleaning dining areas, and helping with light preparation or setup as directed. The House Helper will follow safety and hygiene standards, report maintenance needs, and collaborate with managers and team members to provide a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in workspaces, common areas, and staff facilities.
Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices, especially in a food-service or hospitality environment.
Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow schedules and task lists.
Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude when working with managers and team members.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move moderate loads, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or support roles in restaurants or hospitality settings is an advantage.
Willingness to follow company policies, attend training, and learn new procedures to support APC’s service standards.
