Job Summary (List Format) Senior SAP Basis Technical/Hands On Consultant
Serve as a Senior SAP Basis Technical/Hands-On Consultant supporting a large and business-critical SAP landscape across multiple business units.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available SAP infrastructure in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level SAP Basis administrators and coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain SAP systems and related technologies (SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, HANA, Oracle).
Conduct system health checks, capacity planning, workload analysis, and performance tuning across SAP platforms and supporting infrastructure.
Develop, test, and maintain backup, restore, high-availability, disaster-recovery, and failover procedures.
Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Manage SAP migrations, upgrades, S/4HANA conversions, database migrations, system refreshes, client copies, and landscape transformations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, infrastructure, database, development, cloud, security) to ensure smooth SAP operations and resolve issues.
Coordinate with internal and external operations teams for SAP system administration and lifecycle management.
Maintain secure SAP configurations, support patching, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and compliance.
Create and update technical documentation, operational procedures, support records, and knowledge-sharing materials.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule to provide continuous support.
Required Experience: 8+ years in IT with 5+ years in senior SAP Basis/SAP HANA roles, hands-on with SAP S/4HANA/ECC/HANA/NetWeaver, strong technical operations and cross-platform expertise (AIX, Linux, Windows, Oracle, SAP HANA).
Must be able to work effectively across multiple technical domains and participate in round-the-clock support coverage.
