The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. This role ensures reliable data availability for analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence use cases.
What You'll Do
Design and develop scalable data pipelines
Build and maintain data infrastructure and architecture
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability
Optimize data workflows for performance and cost
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts
Implement data governance and security standards
Monitor and troubleshoot data systems
Must have
3+ years of experience in data engineering Strong SQL and Python/Scala skills Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing Hands-on experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) Knowledge of data modeling and schema design Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
