Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our Sept-Îles team.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.
This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.
Responsibilities :
Welcome customers and follow applicable procedures;
Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials;
Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
Weigh and organize materials;
Prepare shipments and incoming materials;
Maintain site cleanliness and organization;
Work safely and follow health and safety standards;
Perform other related duties as required to support operations.
To join our team :
Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment (asset);
Experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
Knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
Ability to perform manual work and work indoors, with occasional outdoor work;
Good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
Responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious;
Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
