WE'RE LOOKING FOR A FOUNDING CTO / TECHNICAL PARTNER
Enchanted Product Lab (EPL), a product studio under Enchanted Digital Acceleration Hub (EDA), is building software products designed to solve real problems across African markets.
We're looking for a Founding CTO / Technical Partner who wants to come in at the building stage and help shape the technical direction of EPL from the ground up.
This is not a conventional 9–5 employment role.
The opportunity is equity-based, with no salary at this stage.
What you'll own
As our Founding CTO / Technical Partner, you'll help:
• Define technical architecture and engineering standards
• Lead and review frontend and backend development
• Establish Git/GitHub and engineering workflows
• Review code and technical decisions
• Work closely with Product Managers and Product Designers
• Translate product requirements into technical execution
• Guide decisions around APIs, databases, infrastructure and security
• Mentor and coordinate our engineering team
• Help take EPL products from development to production
• Build the engineering function as EPL grows
We're looking for someone who has:
• Strong software engineering experience
• Strong backend or full-stack development skills
• Experience with system architecture and API design
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Strong Git/GitHub knowledge
• Product thinking and strong communication skills
• The ability to make technical decisions independently
• An interest in startups, product development and building from the ground up

Important: This is currently an unpaid, equity-based founding opportunity. There is no fixed salary at this stage. We want to be upfront about this so that only candidates who are genuinely interested in building at the early stage apply.
