Role Description This full-time Field Services Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Noida, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on business requirements. The Field Services Engineer will install, commission, and maintain die casting and injection molding machines at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and providing on-site and remote technical support. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams and partners, training customer personnel on machine operation and basic maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement in service processes. Regular travel to customer locations within India will be required to deliver timely and professional service.
Qualifications
Strong field service and on-site support skills, including experience with installation, commissioning, and servicing industrial machinery.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support, with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
Experience in preventive maintenance activities, including inspection, calibration, and scheduled servicing to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Demonstrated customer service capabilities, such as clear communication, professionalism at customer sites, and the ability to manage expectations and provide training.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Hands-on experience with industrial automation, hydraulics, and/or injection molding or die casting machines is highly beneficial.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, and prepare concise service documentation and reports.
Willingness to travel frequently within India, work in a hybrid setup from Noida, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Basic proficiency in English for technical communication; familiarity with Japanese manufacturing culture or language is a plus.
